Tommy and his team are very honest and professional. They go above and beyond in their diagnostics and did a great job finding the problem at the outset when there were several potentially more costly possibilities. I can’t say enough about their honesty and hard work getting us back on the road quickly.

I wasn’t sure I could be more impressed with Tommy’s. I was wrong. Now there is a spotless and larger garage for services. Great service just got…greater. A friend asked me about a mechanic and I said I wouldn’t just trust my car to Tommy’s, I’d trust my kids with Tommy’s. It’s that level of care and service. They need to add a 6th star for Tommy’s.

I had catastrophic damage to my Jeep engine and associated parts. I’m not from here, but Tommy’s was recommended to me. I’m so glad it was towed there. Though I certainly wish I had not had to go through this, they took fabulous care of my Jeep, and kept me informed every step of the way. I greatly appreciate the entire team, but especially Kevin whose positive attitude made a world of difference. I’m back on the road again, but if I were local they would definitely be my mechanics. Found out about Tommy’s because they were the only ones willing to work on our 77 Chevy. Now we bring all our vehicles here and so does the rest of our family! Everyone is always incredibly nice and take the time to answer any questions we have. Would HIGHLY recommend Tommy’s to anyone

I am driving home to Oregon from SoCal when my shifter cable breaks and leaves me stranded in Altascadero on a Sunday evening. Lame. Tommy and team leaped into action and began solving my issue with great communication and knowledge. The guys at Tommy’s Auto and Performance really saved my bacon and did so as if we were family, couldn’t recommend them more.

Legends. My car broke down driving to Santa Barbara from Oakland. On a Friday afternoon. These guys agreed to work on it, got right to work when I arrived, diagnosed the problem (a bad coil pack), managed to find one locally, and had me back in the road in under two hours from start to finish. They were also friendly and positive, which is helpful if you’re car has broken down and you’re stressed! All around excellent service and experience. Thank you so much.

They have helped maintain my older car w/ 496000+ miles on it (Acura MDX) and a newer car (Acura RDX) in stellar fashion. I cannot say enough great things about this auto shop. my experience with Tommys was great and super painless. I had them take my car in after it broke down on my way back to sacramento, and they were super communicative and understanding about my inability to come pick it up due to time constraints. when i did come to pick it up and throughout the entire process really, everyone i spoke to was super friendly and they did me some huge favors. if I ever get stranded in Atascadero again, I know where i’m going.

Tommy’s Auto is the only shop I go to now. Their excellent service, value, and attention to detail is why I don’t consider any other shop. Keep up the great work!
